Saunas with a Café in London
A café changes what a sauna visit is. Instead of heating up, showering and leaving, you can sit between rounds with a drink and make an afternoon of it — which is exactly how sauna culture works in the countries London borrowed it from. SaunaMap lists 64 verified London saunas with somewhere to eat or drink on site.
The bar is deliberately set at food or drink you can actually buy, on site, without booking a treatment or a package. A herbal tea station in reception does not count, and neither does an included lunch that only comes with a spa day. What does count ranges from a proper kitchen and bar at the larger banyas and bathhouses, through the coffee-and-cake counters at community sauna sites, to leisure-centre cafés you can use without paying to swim.
