gymetc Gateshead | Not Just Fitness

Features & Amenities

Reviewers praise the pool, sauna, steam room, and ice pool as genuine additions that lift the offering beyond a standard gym. The thermal suite is described as spa-like and fairly priced around £26 monthly on annual membership. Staff are consistently noted as welcoming and supportive. Crowding at peak times and poor equipment etiquette (weights left out, plates on floors) are recurring concerns; while not the gym's direct fault, firmer enforcement of rules is flagged by multiple visitors. The 12-month contract with restrictive exit terms frustrates some. A good fit for those prioritising the thermal facilities and community feel over peak-time space.
