The Athenaeum Club

Features & Amenities

Reviewers consistently praise The Athenaeum's pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as lovely and peaceful, with a notably relaxed atmosphere that doesn't get overcrowded like other spas. Staff are described as warm and welcoming. Spa treatments (massage, facial) receive strong praise when they proceed as planned. Booking communication around additional treatments has been problematic for some, and one visitor noted the treatment room was brightly lit, detracting from the spa experience. For a quieter midweek escape with quality facilities, the venue draws repeat visitors.
