Strood Sports Centre

Features & Amenities

The pool at Strood Sports Centre is genuinely enjoyed by swimmers, and staff throughout the centre earn consistent praise for friendliness and helpfulness. However, the changing rooms are in poor condition with multiple reports of dirty floors, broken lockers, and hygiene issues. Disabled access is severely constrained: a single toilet on reception, no grab rails in shower areas, and minimal changing facilities for gym and class users. For able-bodied swimmers tolerant of basic changing facilities, the pool and welcoming staff are the draw; others should assess whether current conditions suit them.
