What visitors say
Based on recent Google reviewsDavid Lloyd Basildon draws members for its gym, pool, hot tub, and steam room alongside virtual fitness classes and regular community events. Reviewers praise the welcoming atmosphere and breadth of facilities. Cleanliness and refurbishment standards in wet areas (changing rooms, pool, showers) have drawn concern from multiple visitors and appear below the standard of other David Lloyd venues. The Mind and Body studio can be noisy due to adjacent kids' club and boxing activities. Strong staff engagement and varied membership tiers keep members returning.
