Active Leicester - Cossington Street Sports Centre

Features & Amenities

The swimming lesson programme is the genuine draw here, with instructors delivering patient, structured teaching that builds young swimmers' confidence and progress. Reception and administrative staff have also impressed visitors with their professionalism. However, cleanliness across changing rooms, showers, and poolside is inconsistent and concerning, with mould and unpleasant odours reported multiple times. Gym equipment maintenance is similarly sluggish. If you're booking lessons, the instruction quality is worth it; if you're using the facility independently, manage expectations on upkeep.
