Albany Leisure Centre, Enfield

Features & Amenities

Albany's swimming pools and sauna draw consistent praise, and class instructors are noted for quality. Gym equipment and facilities, however, show neglect: ventilation is poor (stuffy air, doors propped open to breathe), machinery sits unrepaired for years, and changing facilities are sometimes dirty. The steam room breaks down periodically. Staff helpfulness varies; one cleaner bears the bulk of maintenance. The cosmetic updates mask deeper maintenance issues. Swimming alone makes visits worthwhile for water-focused members, but the overall wellness experience feels under-resourced.
